Julien Plaisir De returns with a podcast dedicated to ’summer love’, Parisian style. Please note that if you’re not French, you’ll still enjoy most of this mix but there’ll be a few that you’ll be biologically forced to skip. The A&R police at Turbo were able to forgive the obvious indulgences because we ARE true romantics at heart (even if OUR idea of romance is a six hour 303 symphony). I’ve recently had the pleasure of staying with Julien in his adorable apartment in Paris and I’m pleased to report that this mix legitimately sounds a lot like his life feels – like a cross between a Wes Anderson and Eric Rohmer film. Enjoy!

cheers from philly!
Good collection of music.
The sound quality is not so good, though.
Haha. Good stuff, really nice and unique.
But yes, whatever was used to mix this was pushed too hard. The highs are distorted.
Wow. What a fantastic selection of songs. I like the fact that it shows the other tastes you have relative to what you put out there on Turbo.
On the one hand the distortion feels like the mix is pushed too far. On the other hand I’d like to think that you were just cranking the tracks at your place while jamming on the mix and getting into it.
A track listing would fantastic! Thanks for a great mix.

genious!!!!! It slounds so French that I can imagine myself dancing in an autumn night in the streets of Paris… While the leaves are falling… a middle point between Romanticism and Bohemian… Thanks ;)
Brilliant collection, but I am having trouble identifying the tracks missing from the list above (thanks btw for that much). I tried playing this via podcast through an itunes player but it did not display the track list. Help!
